The Commonwealth is one of the world’s most unique international communities, spanning 56 nations, over 2.7 billion people, and every major region of the world.
Bound together by shared history, language, legal traditions and institutional familiarity, the Commonwealth possesses extraordinary potential for collaboration across education, development, governance and commerce.
Yet in many respects this potential remains under-utilised.
Commonwealth Gateway was established to help unlock that potential by creating a series of structured initiatives designed to connect individuals, organisations and institutions across the Commonwealth network.
These initiatives are organised around four strategic pillars, each addressing a different dimension of Commonwealth cooperation:
Commonwealth Youth
Engaging the Commonwealth’s next generation of leaders, particularly university students, by expanding knowledge, encouraging dialogue and building international networks that will shape future collaboration across business, government and civil society.
